Q. What is a ROVI?
A. A ROVI is a safety checklist that provides a simple assessment of the health of a properties electrics.
Q. Who can get a ROVI?
A. Private homeowners and private landlords.
Q. Why get a ROVI?
A. For any non-urgent concerns regarding the safety of a properties electrical system.
Q. How long does it take?
A. Between 1 – 2 hours, depending on findings and the installation size.
Q. What is commonly found?
A. Damaged sockets or switches, signs of burning, invalid EICR, compromised safety, out of date smoke and monoxide detectors.
Q. Should I get a check?
A. If you’re concerned about anything electrical that is non-urgent, or if you want greater peace of mind about the safety of those inside the property.
Q. What do I get afterwards?
A. A completed health check form, advice and steps to improve safety.
